Degree Programmes

The Azim Premji University’s degree programmes aim to develop competent and committed professionals for the education and development sectors in India. The programmes are designed such that both fresh students and working professionals can benefit from an exciting learning environment. The curriculum is modern, multi-disciplinary and contextually relevant, there is a high degree of linkage between theory and practice and the faculty members are leading academicians as well as practitioners with decades of rich, on the ground experience. The programmes are two year post graduate programmes that are credit based and consist of credit-based core courses, elective courses, open courses, field practice, practicum and independent study and/or projects.

On completion of a programme, students will be awarded a Post-Graduate degree, as appropriate. It is expected that this will prepare them to take up professional and leadership roles in the education and development sectors.
